challenge 7

Challenge 7 Discription. Challenge 7 is creating something like a game. This game begins when you click the sprite which is done by using the control 'when sprite 1 clicked.' You are then supposed to create a variable like a rule which is when ever you click on the sprite the score will change by 1.

Challenge 4

Challenge 4 Discription: This challenge is to animate a moving sprite aswell as makink it look as if it is flying towards you . This animation begins when the green button is pressed. It starts of with bat 1 and stays bat 1 for 0.3 sec till it moves 5 steps. Then it switches to bat 2 which is slightly different to bat 1, bat 2 waits 0.3 sec till it moves 5 steps. The control change size by 10 makes the flying bat bigger by 10 times which gives the illusion of the bat flying towards you.

Challenge 3

These various steps give the impression the bat is flying .

Challenge 1

Challenge 1 allows the sprite to glide from one side to the other bouncing of the sides.

The gliding begins when the green button is pressed. The sprite glides in various directions due to the diferent co ordinates of x and y. This gliding movement is continuous due to the forever control.

I have began to start my challenges on scratch which means i have finished the tutorials. But i have encountered some problems. I am having difficulty doing challenges 2 5 6 and 8. I find it hard i know how to do parts of it but not the full thing. so sofare i will only have challenges 1 3 4 and 7 posted while i work on the rest of the challenges.

Tutorial 10

Tutorial 10 has the command to allow the sprite to start dancing to a drum beat. The command begins when the green button is pressed. The sprite will first move 30 steps when the drum will start to play. The sprite then moves back to it's begining postion when the drum begins to play again. This command is continous due to the use of the forever control.

Tutorial 9

Tutorial 9 has the command to change the colour of the sprite and play a drumming sound at the same time. The command begins when the sprite is clicked. The sprites colour is then changed to the effect of 25. The beat of the drum then begines to play for 0.2 sec when the sprite then turns back to it's normal colour. This command only happens when you touch the sprite.

Tutorial 8

Tutorial 8 has the command to allow the sprite to talk. This command begins when you click the sprite. And the control looks allow the sprite to say what ever you like by typing in what ever you want them to say and for how long they say it for.

Tutorial 7

Tutorial 7 has the command to switch the sprites while moving at the same time which gives it an animation look. This command begines when the green button is pressed. It starts of with the parrot 1 costume and stays ie that for 0.3 sec when it moves 5 steps. It then changes costume to parrot b and stays the same for 0.3 sec when it moves 5 steps. When ever the animation touches the edge it will bounce of. This command is continuous due to the use of the forever control.

Tutorial 6

Tutorial 6 has the command to whirl a sprite by moving the mouse. This command begins when the green button is pressed. The control 'set effect to' allows you to choose from various effects in which this case we chose whirl and mouse. This command is continuous due to the use of the forever control.

Tutorial 5

Tutorial 5 has the command to allow the sprite to glide from one piont to the other. This command occurs when the green button is pressed. The sprite will glide to the pionts x and y for various seconds as shown above. The sprite will glide as far as the co ordinates are set. This command is continous due to the use of the control forever.

Tutorial 4

Tutorial four uses the commands to allow the sprite to be moved when ever the mouse is moved. The command begins when the green button is pressed and the sprite pionts towards the mouse pionter which allows it to move. The mouse moves three steps due to the use of the motion control. This command is continuous due to the use of the control command of forever.

Tutorial 3 has the command to play a sound while the sprite whirls. This command begins when the green button is pressed. The play sound will begin and the sprite will whirl to the effect of 50. the occur will occur for 0.25 seconds and the whirl will then be discontinued for 0.25 seconds. This command will occur 10 times due to the cotrol repeat.

Tutorial 2

Tutorial 2 shows the command of changing colour. The command occurs when the green button is clicked. it changes the colour of the sprite but is only a subtle result for the effect is 25. T his command is continous foe the control forever is used.

Tutorial 1

This script is from tutorial one. The command of this script is when the green button is clicked the ghost will change to the second ghost that is of a different colour. it will change every 1 second back and forth. This command is continous due to the forever control.

It was also fustrating how you could not have two different text formats and colours in the same text box so we had to create all these text boxes around the page which made it difficult to have everything in line so when you went to preview the page everything was all over the place.

The final problem we had was it was extremely difficult to find information on Displays hd and lcd aswell as Digital tv transmission hd tv transmission.

Assignment

We are now working on our last two topics and we are fixing everything up , adding some music in the backround. we also have to add a credits page so everything should be finished today.
Only problem is that it is extremely hard to find information on our last two topics.

Today we started our research tasks on different multimedia tools . Evaluation

Throughout my assesment i have worked to the best of my ability to create this animation with many difficulties. My animation needs alot of improvement i thought a could of improved with the story line and been more creative then just use a circle i think it lacked alot of detail but then again it was my first ever animation but i enjoyed it and i think what let me down the most was my lack of computer skills and sort of leaving it to the last minute.
